Functions

Due to its outstanding character, excellent value and fantastic atmosphere, Ye Olde Pump House proves to be a popular venue for functions. We have the capacity to comfortably seat 30 people for a sit-down meal, or we can cater for around 60 people with a buffet. In the past year alone we have held wedding receptions, birthday celebrations and even a baby shower! We have our very own in house DJ who can add that extra something to your celebration with an advance booking. Prices, menus and availability on request.

Events

As we are situated in George Street, in the heart of the historic Old Town of Hastings, we are in a unique position to participate in many of the traditional Old Town events that are held throughout the year. For instance our customers and staff actively particpate in Old Town Carnival Week, as they have done for years, entering teams into the Tug'O'War and the Pram Race to name but two events. We also participate in, and decorate the pub for the famous May Day festival that is Jack In The Green, and are perhaps the liveliest venue in the Old Town when it comes to Bank Holiday weekends. And lest we forget we now have a tradition for being the focal point (or is that pint ?) for St Patricks day, and the newly established Pirate Day in George Street. We usually have a live band playing in the afternoons on Bank Holidays, and every Friday night you can listen to the best (and worst) tunes from the 80's whilst enjoying one of our cocktails complete with sparkler to really give you that retro feeling!
